JOB POSTING
The National Secretary position will be open as of November 1, 2024. All Chapter members are welcome to apply by sending their completed application to rfrcpres@gmail.com. Prerequisites for the position are: (1) current RFRC membership in good standing; and (2) prior or current holding of a chapter officer position. Expectations are roughly 5 hours work/week and ready availability to other National officers. See Roukan for more details.
FALSE RUMORS
There are rumors going around that the RFRC is now a support group for a 1%er MC. That is false. We respect all diamond clubs but will NEVER be a support for anyone. As an RC, we do not claim territory, nor do business out of our Club besides selling our swag and fundraising for charities. If you have questions or concerns, please email Roukan, our National President, directly at rfrcpres@gmail.com.
LOCAL FUNDRAISER PLANNED FOR JUNE 9, 2024
Our Fundraiser for Almost Home Animal Sanctuary was a big success; raising $2100 for the sanctuary. We had 17 bikes and 21 people on the morning ride to Hueston Woods; with Roukan as Ride Captain, Dusty as Mid-Captain, and Bird as Tallgunner. See you all soon.
CHARITY UPDATE
RFRC is now a proud supporter of K9s for Warriors and will be fundraising for them in 2024. Our Charity Chair is Ruffrider, our National Treasurer.
FRIENDS IN NEED
Our West Viriginia Chapter 5 just raised around $6,500 for a local friend and cancer victim. They then hosted an Easter Egg hunt for local kids. Hell Yeah!
The Rebellious Few is a riding club formed in Southwestern Ohio, USA with strong ties of family, kinship, and loyalty for the love of riding motorcycles. Rebellious Few is not an MC and does not claim any territory. Our back patch is a testament of who we are, where we came from and where we’re going. Rebellious Few exists to ride and enjoy life from the seat of a motorcycle. The mission of Rebellious Few is to share the love of riding with others in the community while enjoying the relationships built within group riding. We have decided to choose animal-related charities for which to fundraise and plan rallies and rides to benefit those causes.
We are rebellious
We few stand together
We Few stand proud
We few push the boundaries
Between brotherhood and sisterhood
Few love the roads
We few love the skies
We few love the winds
Pushing us along from behind
We few live by an unspoken creed
We few live by respect
We few hug and embrace
We few love the family
We are Rebellious
We are Few
We are The Rebellious Few
The Rebellious Few is a family-based riding club and does not claim territory or business dealings. We reach out to other clubs in the areas where we grow to inform them we are no threat to them in any way. We simply mean to ride and enjoy our love of motorcycles and family bonds.
The name "Rebellious Few" was chosen from a list of about 20 options and was picked to represent the future of our riding family would look like. To carry on our beliefs and ideas, a few of us broke away from what we all knew to form a new riding club. Others followed and the Rebellious Few was born.
Why yet another RC? Unlike many poser clubs, we ride...a lot. We thought long and hard about MC v. RC and decided that a family-friendly RC was closest to who we are. We have good relations with many MCs and give respect, so get respect since we are not claiming any territory or conducting any business other than fundraising.
We love time together and time on our motorcycles. We do not have turf to defend or beefs with others and love to ride with other groups or lone wolves. Our constitution is extensive but based mostly on common sense and rider respect and safety, which many other clubs do not emphasize. We encourage engagement internal promotion of all members who want to make the RFRC meaningful in their life.
If safe and plentiful riding is your passion too, maybe you can be one of the Rebellious Few.
The horse is strong and reliable. It once was the pinnacle of transportation for society. Today, instead of riding the horse we ride the motorcycle, the modern-day iron steed depicted by the pistons and flames. The fiery eyes show the strength and determination that brought the RFRC into existence. Our symbol (called "Leo") was chosen not to copy any MC or other Club but to show independence and freedom of the open road.
If you love to ride and are looking for a legitimate, family-friendly but serious riding club, check us out. Leave a message and one of the Rebellious Few Officers or CORE members will get in touch with you. Better yet, complete a membership application from the Admin tab of this website and email it to Roukan at rfrcpres@gmail.com.
All RFRC members must abide by our bylaws and constitution.* The latter is organized into two parts (Part I addresses Club-wide polices and guidelines and Part II addresses individual chapter recommendations). Although we are growing and want individual chapters to have some autonomy, the Club-wide governance rests with National which houses the Executive Board of five (5) officers (President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Sergeant-at-Arms).
* Our bylaws and constitution are in the Administration Section of this website for all to view.
We demand equality within the RFRC. Women and people of color are entitled to the same respect as anyone else and can hold RFRC National and chapter positions. We do not tolerate discrimination within our Club. It is our creed.
Why yet another motorcycle riding club when there are thousands of RCs and MCs around? As many of us came from another RC, we decided to do something a little different. We are serious riders who value miles on the road and the kinship that comes with those miles on motorcycles together. This club was formed for those of us who have the wonderful, lifelong addiction of motorcycle riding and touring. Some of us are older and semi-retired so we can do 15k-20k miles a year and cover vast portions of the USA and Canada on our "vision quests". Others still work full-time, but make up time and miles on weekends and holidays. We ride different types and sizes of bikes, yet are all engaged with riding and the RFRC community.
After much deliberation, we decided on the Horse and Spartan as our patch. It signifies strength, kinship, and history; all of which we value. The RFRC is already growing, but we are in no hurry to get big. We are adding folks that ride a ton, share our vision for a family-friendly riding club, and are willing to contribute time and passion to the wellbeing of the club and to animal welfare charities that we value.
We might have chapters coast to coast in the USA and Canada someday, might be regional, might be limited to Ohio; really does not matter. What matters is that we are together, we love to ride, and we hope to continue as long as possible. Maybe you want to join us? Either way...Ride on!
Dr. Mark "Roukan" Bamberger, Dayton, Ohio, 12/23/22
Unlike some motorcycle or riding clubs, we are in no hurry to expand. We claim no territory and hold no beef with any other club. We ride with anyone of good will and competent riding skills. If you want to read our bylaws and constitution, they are in the Admin section of this website.
Ride on!
